Next Controls Energy ManagementTechology Partners REstore

Next Control Systems building energy management and building control systems are fully compatible with the REstore FlexpondTM Demand Response Management Platform. FlexpondTM is a ground-breaking software platform that offers grid operators a unique combination of reliable, fast, flexible power. Patented real-time portfolio management methods mean REstore can offer grid operators an optimised array of virtual power plants, opening up reserve markets for industrial consumers within the Next Controls Customer base who otherwise wouldn’t qualify for demand response.

Next Controls’ compatibility with FlexpondTM enables organisations to gain access to Demand Response opportunities, within both the Demand Response and Frequency Regulation markets. In addition, These organisations will be able to enter flexible power into Transitional Arrangements and the Capacity Market as from Winter 2018/19, delivering a long term additional benefit to the energy cost reduction strategy for any organisation with Next controls building energy management and building control systems.

REstore is an energy technology company, focused on automated Demand Response. REstore offers curtailable capacity to energy utilities, balancing responsible parties, and transmission grid operators in the form of a virtual power plant, offering technical specifications that are fully comparable to a gas-fired plant. The company is the leader in the fast-growing European Primary Reserve / Frequency control market, and operates in all ancillary services and capacity markets. The company’s proprietary platform FlexpondTM is used by more than 50 of Europe’s top industrial consumers to curtail their power demand without impacting their industrial processes. In exchange, REstore’s industrial consumers receive significant cash payments and contribute to the reduction in UK CO2 emissions by reducing the need for Fossil Fuel powered power plants to be on standby for Demand Response.

energy management systems

ESP Energy Management, a British energy management company has ripped up the rule book and pioneered a revolutionary process to generate funding for their clients to invest in energy saving technologies. And here’s the ironic part, the funding comes from the utility suppliers themselves.

This is an open book process of energy procurement which enables clients to get the deal available on energy supply contracts, while also reducing the hidden commission paid to energy brokers. ESP’s commercial model is open about the commission that is routinely built into unit prices during the energy procurement process; the commission is paid by energy supply companies to energy brokers, or retained by the suppliers themselves.

The ESP model makes the majority of those funds available through a client trust fund to assist in the implementation of energy services that will reduce energy demand costs. This usually begins with the implementation of an energy management system, fully funded of course, to enable their consultants to identify on-site energy wastage, and non-productive consumption. The next stage of the process is underpinned by sixteen tried, tested and approved energy saving technologies which will reduce consumption of electricity, gas, and water within their clients. The ESP green fund serves to dramatically reduce the payback period, and improve the return on investment for their clients.
